1. Introduction

Welcome to RNT Media (“we”, “us”, “our”), a motorsport content platform operated by RNT Media, based in the Netherlands. RNT Media connects motorsport journalists and photographers (“Creators”) with media companies, brands, and fans (“Buyers”) through content publishing, syndication, and a content marketplace.

By registering an account, submitting content, or purchasing a content licence, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Definitions

Platform: The RNT Media website and services available at rnt-media.com.

Creator: A registered user who submits articles or photographs for publication or marketplace listing.

Buyer: A person or organisation that purchases a content licence through the RNT Media Marketplace.

Submission: Any article, photo set, or AI-generated article submitted by a Creator through the Platform.

Marketplace: The section of the Platform where Creators offer content licences for sale to Buyers.

Licence: A non-exclusive, non-transferable right granted to a Buyer to use a specific piece of content under the conditions set out in Section 8.

Publishing Fee: The fee paid by a Creator to have their submission reviewed and published on one of the RNT Media partner sites.

Article Generator: An AI-assisted tool that generates an SEO-optimised motorsport article based on input provided by the Creator.

3. Accounts

3.1  You must be at least 18 years old to register an account on the Platform.

3.2  Creator accounts are subject to editorial approval. RNT Media reserves the right to accept or decline any Creator application without stating reasons.

3.3  You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.4  You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Changes to your details (including IBAN for payouts) are your responsibility to keep up to date.

3.5  We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for an extended period.

4. Creator Publishing Plans & Fees

4.1  Creators select a publishing plan when submitting content. Current plans include Starter (€15), Pro (€25), Premium (€49), Photo S (€25), Photo L (€40), and Photo Featured (€75). Prices are listed excluding VAT where applicable.

4.2  After editorial approval of a submission, the Creator receives a payment link via email. Publication is initiated after payment is confirmed.

4.3  The Article Generator service is offered at a flat fee of €19. Payment is required before the full generated article is released to the Creator.

4.4  Publishing fees are non-refundable once content has been reviewed and processed, unless RNT Media is unable to fulfil the publication.

4.5  All payments are processed by Mollie B.V. By completing a payment you also agree to Mollie’s terms of service.

4.6  RNT Media reserves the right to adjust plan pricing. Changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance and will not affect submissions already in progress.

5. Content Standards

5.1  All submitted content must be original, accurate, and relevant to motorsport. RNT Media does not accept plagiarised, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful content.

5.2  Creators warrant that they hold all necessary rights to the submitted content, including any photographs, quotes, or third-party material included.

5.3  RNT Media may edit content for style, grammar, and SEO optimisation before publication. The editorial team has final say on suitability for publication.

5.4  Content that is rejected for quality or relevance reasons will be communicated to the Creator. The publishing fee may be refunded at RNT Media’s discretion if content is rejected before any editorial work has begun.

5.5  Creators may not submit content that was previously published elsewhere without prior written consent from RNT Media.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1  Creators retain full copyright over their submitted content at all times.

6.2  By submitting content, the Creator grants RNT Media a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish, display, and distribute the content on the RNT Media partner sites (including racingnewstoday.com and rnt-motorsports.com) and to include a backlink to the Creator’s website.

6.3  For content listed on the Marketplace, the Creator additionally grants RNT Media the right to offer non-exclusive licences to Buyers as set out in Section 8.

6.4  The Article Generator produces content based on the Creator’s input. Upon payment, the Creator receives full ownership of the generated article.

7. Marketplace — Creator Terms

7.1  Approved Creators with a valid IBAN on file may list their published content on the RNT Media Marketplace. A valid IBAN is required before content can be listed.

7.2  RNT Media sets the listing price in consultation with the Creator, based on content type, quality, and market value.

7.3  Upon a successful licence sale, the Creator receives 70% of the net sale price. RNT Media retains 30% as a platform fee. The Creator’s share will be transferred to the IBAN on file within a reasonable timeframe after the sale is confirmed.

7.4  Creators are responsible for ensuring their IBAN details are correct. RNT Media is not liable for failed or misdirected transfers caused by incorrect banking information.

7.5  The same piece of content may be licensed to multiple Buyers (non-exclusive licence). The Creator agrees to this model by listing content on the Marketplace.

7.6  RNT Media reserves the right to remove content from the Marketplace at its discretion, for example if the content no longer meets quality standards or if legal concerns arise.

8. Marketplace — Buyer & Licence Terms

8.1  Buyers must be registered and logged-in users of the Platform to purchase content licences.

8.2  Upon successful payment, the Buyer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the purchased content for their own editorial, marketing, or internal purposes.

8.3  The licence does not permit:

• resale or sublicensing of the content to third parties;
• claiming authorship or ownership of the content;
• use of the content in a way that is defamatory, misleading, or unlawful;
• removal or alteration of any author attribution or watermarks.

8.4  The licence is granted for a single entity (the purchasing organisation or individual). Use by affiliated companies or subsidiaries requires a separate licence.

8.5  Licence purchases are final. Refunds are only provided if the content delivered materially differs from what was advertised, reported within 7 days of purchase.

8.6  Downloaded content is made available via the Buyer’s account dashboard and/or by email. RNT Media is not responsible for technical issues on the Buyer’s end that prevent download.

9. Payments & VAT

9.1  All prices on the Platform are stated in Euros (€).

9.2  Payments are processed securely by Mollie B.V. RNT Media does not store payment card data.

9.3  VAT may be applicable depending on your location and the nature of the transaction. Applicable VAT will be shown at checkout where required.

9.4  In case of a failed or disputed payment, access to content or services may be withheld until the matter is resolved.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1  RNT Media provides the Platform on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Platform or its features.

10.2  RNT Media is not liable for any loss of revenue, loss of data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform, to the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law.

10.3  RNT Media is not responsible for the accuracy of Creator-submitted content. Creators are solely responsible for the factual accuracy of their work.

10.4  Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Privacy

11.1  RNT Media processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch data protection law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11.2  By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11.3  Creator bank details (IBAN) are stored securely and used exclusively for the purpose of processing payouts. This information is never shared with third parties other than our payment processor.

12. Changes to These Terms

12.1  We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify registered users by email.

12.2  Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

13.1  These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

13.2  If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
